Process

Seven clear stages from the first requirement to stable operation.

Software development process

Seven clear stages.
One shared view of the project.

Every project follows seven practical stages. Z-SOFT and the client review a clear output at each stage before moving forward, so scope, progress and responsibilities stay visible.

  1. 01Requirements analysis
  2. 02Solution design & quotation
  3. 03Contract signing
  4. 04UI/UX & system architecture design
  5. 05Software development
  6. 06Testing & acceptance
  7. 07Deployment & maintenance
01

Requirements analysis

Collect and analyse requirements, then define the project's scope and objectives.

Output: confirmed requirements, project scope and success objectives.

02

Solution design & quotation

Propose the technical solution and prepare the delivery plan, timeline and cost estimate.

Output: solution proposal, implementation plan, schedule and quotation.

03

Contract signing

Agree on the scope of work, delivery schedule and terms of execution.

Output: signed contract and an agreed project kick-off plan.

04

UI/UX & system architecture design

Design the UI/UX, database, APIs and overall system architecture.

Output: approved UI/UX and system design documentation.

05

Software development

Implement the software according to plan, with code review and internal testing.

Output: reviewed source code and deployable software increments.

06

Testing & acceptance

QA tests the system, the client performs UAT, and the team completes changes from feedback before acceptance.

Output: test report, resolved acceptance issues and signed acceptance record.

07

Deployment & maintenance

Put the system into operation, train users and provide long-term upgrade and maintenance support.

Output: production system, user training and maintenance plan.

How the project is managed

Clear communication, controlled change and shared acceptance.

The working rhythm is agreed at project kick-off and adapted to the engagement, while these three principles remain consistent.

A named owner on each side

Z-SOFT's project lead and the client's product owner confirm priorities, answer questions and keep decisions moving. Regular check-ins and demonstrations make progress easy to verify.

Scope and changes are recorded

New requests are assessed for value, effort, cost and schedule impact before they enter the plan. Both sides approve material changes, so there are no hidden assumptions.

Done means accepted and operable

A work item is complete only when it meets its acceptance criteria, passes the required reviews and tests, is documented and can be deployed or operated as intended.
